The easiest method of making iced tea is by cold steeping. Simply measure tea into the removeable tea chamber, add cold water and place the pitcher into the refrigerator overnight. The next day, you'll have 6 cups of delicious iced tea--all without ever having to boil a pot of water!
The pitcher is ~9" high x 8.25" wide (including handle and spout) and make about 50 oz of iced tea.
Some of our favorite iced tea blends include:
Fiji - Wild pineapple and papaya blended green tea
Lichee Red - Black tea with sweet lichee notes
Ginger Peach - Chunks of dried peach, pieces of ginger and spices with a rich black tea base.
Kalpana - A refreshing mint green tea with cinnamon, clove, cardamom and a hint of ginger
The Ice Tea Maker can also be used to make other infused drinks, from fruit juices to Sangria or water. Try the following recipe for refreshing infused water: 1. Place the infusing chamber into the pitcher and add a few slices of orange, lemon, lime, cucumber, or strawberries. (most citrus fruits make nice infused water but you can use your imagination) 2. Fill the pitcher with ice. 3. Fill the pitcher with cold water and let it sit for 5 minutes. 4. Serve. 5. You can refill the pitcher with water several times before changing the fruit.
